About TickTidy
TickTidy was built around a simple idea: cleaning is easier to start when the next step is small, concrete, and kind. The app helps people pick one room, start a short reset timer, follow a checklist, and finish with a small win.
The product is intentionally not a full chore scheduler, household management system, or AI cleaning planner. It is a focused tool for overwhelmed moments, busy days, ADHD-friendly cleaning, panic cleaning before guests, and sustainable daily resets.
TickTidy is local-first and no-account by design. Your rooms, checklists, reminders, streaks, and cleaning history stay on your device so the app can feel calm, quick, and private.
Mission
TickTidy exists to make the first cleaning step easier. The mission is not to help people maintain perfect homes. It is to help people get one visible win when a room feels too messy, too boring, too stressful, or too hard to begin.
Design philosophy
- Small wins over perfect homes
- A reset is successful when the room is better than it was. TickTidy avoids perfectionist language because perfection often stops people from starting.
- Fast to start
- The app is designed around the moment of action: open it, choose a room, start the timer, and follow the next checklist item.
- Private by default
- Cleaning history is personal. TickTidy does not require an account or upload rooms, checklists, reminders, or reset history to a TickTidy cloud service.
Who TickTidy is for
TickTidy is for people who want gentle cleaning motivation: people with ADHD, executive dysfunction, burnout, low energy, busy family routines, student schedules, remote-work clutter, or a simple desire to build a calmer daily reset habit.
